In the next installment of You’ve Been Cancelled, we see Roland continue his dominance of cancelling those people whom the people have chosen to be cancelled. Currently ranked number one amongst his peers, Roland is receiving more and more threats to his domination over the competition. Issue two poses even more threats to Rolands reign! You won’t believe the ending to issue two!
You’ve Been Cancelled is an amazing story created by Curt Pires. The year is 2050 and collective outrage and righteous vindication has become the jury and executioner for anything seen by the majority of the population as unrighteous. That’s right, do something bad and enough people agree what you did is bad and all of a sudden there is a bounty on your head and you have been cancelled. Roland is one of many bounty hunters that make a living at this. And in a world where streaming and violent entertainment is at an all time high, you get a streaming show of bounty hunters cancelling (killing) those that have been found guilty of their bad behavior.
Put all this together and you have an amazing story!!! Curt Pires has been busy lately! He is the writer of Youth available on ComiXology, It’s Only a Teenage Wasteland by Dark Horse, Indigo Children from Image Comics, The Tomorrows from Dark Horse, Wyrd from Dark Horse, and Olympia from Image Comics. So yeah, Curt has been busy with some of the most popular titles in comics! This is a must read.
Art is done by Kevin Castaniero is on art and this style of art fits perfect for this story. Kevin has also worked on Grit from Scout Comics.
