Myth Division to Develop Kickstarter Comic Into Animated Series With Henshin
“Menagerie”“ to feature supernatural sci-fi action set in a long abandoned intergalactic zoo

Myth Division, the transmedia IP development studio and comic book imprint founded by comic book writer and worldbuilding producer RamÃ³n Govea, announced today that it has partnered with Premium Content Studio Henshin to developÂ Kickstarter darling comic book series,Â Menagerie, a supernatural science-fiction action-epic set in an abandoned intergalactic zoo, into an animated series. This represents the first collaboration between Myth Division and Henshin and combines their creative expertises in worldbuilding with their eyes for high-end action and fresh, international flares. No release date was announced for animated adaptation.

Henshin Founder and CEO Rob Pereyda said: “I“m excited to be developing this comic book into a show with RamÃ³n. Menagerie“s subversive, high-octane action is reflective of his wild imagination, and the result is something that“s both fun and scary, yet charming and shocking all at the same time.”“

Menagerie follows a group of seasoned Dark Ops soldiers who, when they deserted the war, never expected to find themselves trapped in an inhospitable intergalactic zoo. Now, with her former comrades split between building a new colony and finding a way home, a misanthropic former elite assassin must overcome her own mistrust of authority and bring everyone together before deadly threats from within and outside threaten to wipe them out.

The latest issue of the comic book,Â MenagerieÂ #3, is written by RamÃ³n Govea, with art by David Monge Bautista, coloring by Sean Lee, and lettering by Toben Racicot. To-date, the Kickstarter has exceeded 120% funding and is live through July 9, 2019 atÂ https://menagerieworld.com.
