Stout Club Entertainment Announces Three Comixology Originals Titles Roderick and the City of Morhil written and illustrated by Eduardo Medeiros, Mistland written by Felipe Castilho with art by Felipe Watanabe, and Sliced an original graphic novel by Rafael Scavone and Guilherme Grandizolli Debuting in 2024
Timed to the kickoff of Brazil’s 2023 Comic Con Experience (CCXP), Stout Club Entertainment – the powerhouse creative group composed of comic book creators Rafael Albuquerque, Eduardo Medeiros, Mateus Santolouco, and Rafael Scavone – announces two new comic book series and an original graphic novel as part of their multi book deal with Comixology Originals. Roderick and the City of Morhil, Mistland, and Sliced, all edited by Greg Lockard, will debut in 2024 as part of Amazon’s Comixology Originals exclusive digital content line.
“CCXP is an epic pop culture convention that takes place in our home country of Brazil and Stout Club is so happy to be part of it,” says Rafael Albuquerque, the Eisner, Harvey, and Inkpot Award winning co-creator and artist of the New York Times Bestseller American Vampire and the new Comixology Originals series Duck and Cover. “We are very proud of the comics we have released with Comixology Originals–Red Tag, Hailstone and Funny Creek–and are excited to showcase more of our talent and ideas with these new projects in 2024.”
Roderick and the City of Morhil is a 5 issue fantasy series about a young new postman who’s about to make his first delivery when the package gets stolen, created by Eduardo Medeiros, written and illustrated by Eduardo Medeiros, colors by Bruno Freire, letters by Deyvison Manes and covers by Eduardo Medeiros and Rafael Albuquerque.
Mistland is a 5 issue adventure series that follows the suspects of a murder who are exiled in the frozen vastness of a place called the Mistland, created by Rafael Scavone and Rafael Albuquerque, written by Felipe Castilho with art by Felipe Watanabe, colors by Natalia Marques, letters by Deyvison Manes, and covers by Rafael Albuquerque.
Sliced is an original graphic novel about two rival pizzaiolos forced to give up their generational rivalry and collaborate against a new high-tech competitor written by Rafael Scavone and illustrated by Guilherme Grandizolli, with Cris Peter and Deyvison Manes.

Fans can catch Stout Club Entertainment at Comic Con Experience in Brazil, taking place November 30-December 3, where the group will be hosting a panel on Saturday, December 2 at 12:45pm on the Palco Omelete!
