The award-winning Yorkshire Comic Art festival Thought Bubble have shared the full list of film screenings, talks, panels, Cosplay parades, exhibitions, workshops, book clubs and more that make up the huge programme for their 2019 event.
A week-long celebration of all thing“s comic art across Yorkshire from the 4th ”“ 10th November including a huge comic con on the 9th and 10th, Thought Bubble have announced events including:
- A special screening of Shaun of the Dead in conjunction with Vice Press
- Superhero Biscuit Decorating with Bake Off“s Kim-Joy
- Hilda in Harrogate ”“ An amazing exhibit by Flying Eye at Mercer Gallery Harrogate
- A mid-con party hosted by comiXology
- The Walking Dead immersive experience
- Panels including ”˜The Science of Marvel“, ”˜Hip Hop Comics Connection“, ”˜Life Isn“t Binary“, ”˜The Importance of Being Tank Girl“and many more.
As well as the massive calendar of events, Thought Bubble have also announced their ”˜Kids“ Zone“ that will feature badge making, paper mask making, story writing workshops,  animation workshops, Duplo free-play and much more for kids and families to enjoy!
Alongside all of these activities Thought Bubble will be playing host to artists whose work is known and loved all over the world, with guests and exhibitors attending who are behind some of the most iconic comic brands in history including Marvel, DC, Black Horse and Image and some of the most recognisable comic series’ such as The Walking Dead, Rick & Morty, Judge Dredd, Hilda, Star Wars, Hellboy and many more, as well as creators from TV/streaming giants like Nickelodeon and Netflix
With a huge line up and international recognition in the form of the Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award, 2019 is already shaping up to be a huge year for Thought Bubble, not least due to their move to the massive Harrogate Convention Centre. 13 years after their humble beginnings“ underneath Leeds Town Hall, Thought Bubble is expanding from a Leeds based festival to a festival that celebrates all of Yorkshire with their move to the new North Yorkshire based site.
 Thought Bubble founder Lisa Wood: “The closer we get to the convention the more exciting being in Harrogate is becoming. We’ve got more exhibitors than ever and the best guest line up yet. Seeing our fans, new and old, embrace our new home is really special and makes us work even harder to bring something extra special for 2019”
