Animated Musical Epic DAVID Streaming on Angel
Angel (NYSE: ANGX), a media and technology company guided by two million grassroots Angel Guild members championing values-driven stories, is now streaming its animated family musical DAVID on Angel.com and in the Angel app for all Angel Guild members to enjoy.
DAVID, which grossed nearly $80 million at the domestic box office, became the highest grossing faith based animated theatrical musical of all-time and achieved the best three day theatrical opening in Angel’s history. The film earned a 98% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes as well as an A CinemaScore. DAVID’s soundtrack also cracked the Top 10 on the Billboard Christian Album Chart.
The DAVID Soundtrack, which features music from the film by multi-platinum artist Phil Wickham, captivated listeners by achieving more than 20 million streams and charting in the top 10 on the Billboard Top Christian/gospel album charts for the past three weeks.

DAVID features the voice-talent of Phil Wickham as David, Brandon Engman as young David, and Brian Stivale as the Prophet Samuel. Produced by Sunrise Animation Studios in Cape Town, South Africa, the film, co-directed by Phil Cunningham and Brent Dawes, and brought to life by a world-class, worldwide team of artists who have contributed to some of the most iconic animated projects in history. The film was distributed by Angel with 2521 Entertainment.
