FilAm CreatorCon’s Inaugural Event Announces Appearances by Kwento Comics, Lumpia Movie, Diwata Komiks, Patrick Ballesteros and More!

The first FilAm CreatorCon will be held Saturday, September 14th from 10:00am–4:00pm. Admission is free and all are welcome!

With the support of our event sponsor, Mabuhay Foundation, we are kicking off the first annual FilAm CreatorCon, celebrating Filipino-American creatives and their works in comics, animation, illustration, and pop culture. We’re proud to announce that Kwento Comics, Diwata Komiks, Patricio Ginelsa (Director of Lumpia and Lumpia with a Vengeance), Patrick Ballesteros, and more will be there to ring in the first show.

The inaugural event will be on Saturday, September, 14, 2024 from 10:00am–4:00pm at the National City Public Library in National City, CA (San Diego County). Admission is free and everyone is welcome. There will be an exhibit hall where guests can meet FilAm creatives and can purchase their art from comics to prints to apparel. We will also have programming throughout the day with panel topics like The Business Side of Comics, Women in the Arts, Podcasting, and Content Creation.
