Angel’s Most Popular Franchise – the Homestead Film and Television Series – Will Release Final 6 Episodes of Season 1 Weekly Through Christmas

Directed by Ben Smallbone, the series begins the continuation of Season 1 available now, exclusively on Angel.com and in the Angel App.

Homestead is the most popular franchise on the Angel platform, boasting nearly 1 in 8 minutes watched is tied to the series, and the franchise has been directly responsible for acquiring 253,000 new Angel Guild members.

Following the success of the feature film Homestead starring Neal McDonough, which earned over $20M domestically during its theatrical run, and the launch of the first two episodes of the spin-off series (starring Bailey Chase (Longmire), Charles Esten (Nashville), Dawn Oliveri (1883), Jill Wagner (Lioness), and Jesse Hutch (Freddy vs. Jason) in 2024, Angel is airing the highly-anticipated final six episodes of the season. Episode 3 will air today, followed by a new episode every Wednesday, with the finale airing on Christmas Day.

Based on the bestselling Black Autumn book series by Jeff Kirkham and Jason Ross, Homestead captivated audiences with its unique blend of action, faith-driven hope, and themes of resilience and community. The story follows ex-Green Beret Jeff Eriksson (Chase), who leads his family to a fortified prepper compound after a nuclear detonation in Los Angeles plunges the nation into chaos. Alongside key characters played by Esten and Hutch, the series explores survival, unity, and the strength of the human spirit in a collapsing world.

December 10 – Episode 5: “Catch a Falling Knife” As external threats grow more organized, the women of the Homestead step up to defend their home, while decisions made in secret set an irreversible course toward confrontation.

December 17 – Episode 6: “Evil Has a Certain Smell” Personal vendettas and strategic decisions collide as the divide between communities deepens, forcing Jeff to make an impossible choice that will determine his family’s fate.

December 24 – Episode 7: “Fighting for The Cross” On the eve of an inevitable clash, the community comes together for what might be their last peaceful moments, as unexpected allies emerge from the shadows of a broken world.

December 25 – Episode 8: “Maybe that’s what it took. Maybe it was worth it.” Outnumbered and outgunned, the defenders of the Homestead make their stand against overwhelming odds, where victory may demand the ultimate sacrifice.
