Chroma has officially announced the North American release of Jonas Odenheimerās twisted, non-fungible nightmare NFT: Cursed Images, and yeah this thing is coming in hot. Shot on the gritty streets of London and fresh off a killer festival run, the film drops March 6 on digital platforms, timed perfectly with a limited theatrical release for those brave enough to experience it on the big screen.
And letās talk receipts because this movie didnāt just show up at the 2024 British Horror Film Festival, it DOMINATED. Weāre talking Best Feature Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and the Rising Star Award. Thatās not buzz thatās a full sweep.
The cast is stacked with genre heat, starring David Wayman, Mariah Nonnemacher, Durassie Kiangangu, Amelie Edwards, Nobuse Jnr, Jasmine Clark, Charlie Rich, and horror favorite Najarra Townsend. Set in London, seven friends stumble upon a hyped NFT collection called Crypto Horrors, promising money, clout, and online status. Sounds familiar, right? But thereās a catch the NFTs are cursed. Soon, the digital monsters start crossing over into reality, hunting their owners one by one. As panic spreads and logic fails, reports flood in from online communities experiencing similar phenomena. What starts as flex culture turns into full-blown survival horror.
