Street Trash Is Back to Melt Faces All Over Again With a Gorgeous 4K Collector’s Edition
Cult-horror chaos is crawling back out of the gutter as Street Trash returns on 4K UHD Collector’s Edition Blu-ray and digital starting April 27. The infamous 1987 splatter classic has been newly restored from the original negative, giving this wild, grimy, melt-your-brain horror landmark the glow-up nobody saw coming.
Directed by J. Michael Muro and starring Mike Lackey, Vic Noto, and Bill Chepil, this low-budget horror beast became legendary for helping define the “Melt” movie subgenre, all while being made for an estimated $100,000.
The limited Collector’s Edition, capped at 2,000 copies, comes packed in a VHS-style box with 5+ hours of new extras, fresh commentaries, and artwork by Graham Humphreys.
And yeah, the trash fire keeps burning—Street Trash is also hitting select UK and Irish cinemas in May for special one-off screenings. Brooklyn junkyard runaways, poisoned booze, and absolute liquid insanity? Say less.
