THE NACELLE COMPANY AND SEVEN BUCKS PRODUCTIONS STRIKE PARTNERSHIP WITH TUBI FOR HIGHLY ANTICIPATED ORIGINAL ANIMATED SERIES: ROBOFORCE

From Director Brian Volk-Weiss and Executive Producers Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions, ROBOFORCE, THE ANIMATED SERIES, is an action packed, nostalgic love letter to fans of 80’s and 90’s cartoons.

The Nacelle Company (The Toys/Movies That Made Us, Kevin Hart’s Guide to Black History, Biker Mice from Mars) and Seven Bucks Productions (Red One, Behind the Attraction, Young Rock) are excited to announce a partnership with Tubi, Fox Corporation’s ad-supported streaming service, on the animated original, ROBOFORCE: THE ANIMATED SERIES. The new original animated sci-fi series consists of six, 30-min episodes set to premiere exclusively on Tubi in April of 2025.

Based on the nostalgic toys of the 1980s, the animated series will continue the narrative inspired by the original robot action figures. [1] In 2089 Detroit, Soraya Aviram’s RoboForce debuted with plans to assist a new intergalactic society on Earth. Unfortunately, the same day as the announcement, Soraya’s rival, Silas Duke, revealed his new Utopia Aegis 101 line of bots, which made RoboForce immediately obsolete. RoboForce split up and was forced into menial jobs for 15 years without hope of ever being heroes… Until suddenly, the Utopia Aegis 101’s turn on humanity and no one else besides RoboForce can stop them.

RoboForce: The Animated Series is produced for Tubi by The Nacelle Company and Seven Bucks Productions. The series is directed by Brian Volk-Weiss, who also serves as executive producer alongside Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, and Brian Gewirtz for Seven Bucks Productions, as well as Cisco Henson, Matt Kravitsky, and Michael Goodman for Nacelle. The series was written by Gavin Hignight (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012, Transformers: Cyberverse, Star Wars: Resistance) and Tom Stern (Freaked). Music was composed by Matt Margeson (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Rocketman) and Andrew Brick Johnson (Star Wars Young Jedi Adventures).

Cartoon Conrad (Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go, Netflix’s Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie) served as the lead animation studio for the series.

“When we started working on RoboForce almost three years ago, it never dawned on me that we’d be able to partner up with the best-in-class companies like Tubi, and people like Dwayne Johnson!” said Brian Volk-Weiss. “All of us have worked hard to make a show that the audience falls in love with, and as MAXX 89 says, ‘Let’s proceed!’”.

“I’m so excited for this series to be released on Tubi in April,” said Seven Bucks’ President of Production, Hiram Garcia. “We’re pleased to have another collaboration with Nacelle, resulting in a nostalgic yet fresh story about a group of funny, persevering robots with a second chance to achieve greatness and save the world. I was a fan of RoboForce as a child and look forward to captivating new and old fans alike while building upon the strong momentum of our animation division.”
