“Traction Park Massacre” Set For World Premiere Screening @ New York Comic Con, October 9
Terror Twins, LLC is thrilled to announce the world premiere screening of Traction Park Massacre at this year’s New York Comic Con, October 9 at the Javits Center, 7pm-9pm – Room 409/411. The screening will include an introduction from co-directors and writers Adam Dubin (Murder at the Front Row, A Year And A Half In The Life Of Metallica) and Douglas diMonda with Fangoria’s Michael Gingold, along with a meet-and-greet after, with the cast. Acclaimed artist Tony Squindo (Metallica, Fortnite) will be on-hand signing limited edition prints he created based on the film’s lead villains, the Terror Twins. And guests will receive an exclusive Traction Park Massacre branded, limited-edition fidget spinner.
Traction Park Massacre was launched into the horror film fan consciousness at New York Comic Con 2024, when Dubin, diMonda, Gingold, comedian Chris Gethard, and cast members discussed the movie’s inspiration, the notorious New Jersey amusement park – Action Park – along with the origins and making of the film. One year later, bringing the finished film back to the massive four-day event for its World Premiere, is perfect synergy.
Traction Park Massacre is a modern-day 80s-style slasher film about a group of young friends who meet a gang of outlaw bikers who meet feral twin psycho-killers in a notorious abandoned amusement park. Traction Park Massacre tells the bloody tale of the chaotic and charismatic Terror Twins, Otto and Emil Von Metzger as played by Kai Thomas Schulz and Bodhi Schulz, who inhabit the burned out remains of Action Wonderland and hunt those thrill seekers foolish enough to attempt to find the remains of the abandoned park. Who will survive? Probably no one.
Additionally starring Scarlett James, Tori Sen, Jacob Kaufman, Helene Henry, Lucas Hyde, McKalin, Sheila Ball, Alan Z, Ethan Paul, Aiden Figueroa, and Rob Cantrell, who will be on-hand at the premiere and for a post-screening meet-and-greet.
The film features a soundtrack chock-full of classic metal and a bold 80’s inspired score from Alex Skolnick of Testament.
