TRAILER: CHOLO ZOMBIES: MONSTRO
What’s For Dinner Ese?
After an exclusive launch on the Latino-owned streaming platform, ChicanoHollywood.TV, CHOLO ZOMBIES: MONSTRO, the sequel to director Eric Rafael Ibarra’s horror comedy action film CHOLO ZOMBIES, which also starred Vince Romo as “Monstro” and Loretta Vampz as “Vampz,” is now available on other streaming platforms, including Amazon Prime, for rent and purchase, and free with commercials on Tubi. CHOLO ZOMBIES: MONSTRO won “Best Horror Movie ” at the Hollywood Global Film Festival and Vince Romo won “Best Actor.”
Blood gushes as the zombies hunt for food but things get tough when laws are put in place, and they cannot eat. Monstro will do whatever it takes to keep Vampz and his family together. The film delivers savage carnage for fans of zombies and horror films, along with humor in the vein of “The Munsters” and “Beetlejuice,” with twisted laugh-out-loud comedy and zombie romance.
CHOLO ZOMBIES: MONSTRO was directed by Eric Rafael Ibarra and Mark Newton (“Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies”), produced by Pete Bollinger, Cedar Films Studios (“Cholo Zombies”) with Newton’s Movie Magic & Entertainment, and executive produced by Daniel Wood (“The Atoning,” “Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies”) and Andy Rodriguez. The sequel picks up where the first film left off with zombie gore plus a horror zombie romantic comedy twist. “Vampz” moves Heaven and
Earth to revive her man, “Monstro,” whose head and body need to be reunited. Then, after together bliss, she discovers that she is pregnant with Monstro’s zombie baby!
In CHOLO ZOMBIES: MONSTRO, Monstro (Vince Romo) and Vampz (Loretta Vampz) try to make their relationship work after their baby, Monstra, (Lilith Vampz) is born. Vampz wants to get married, but Monstro… not so much. Can these lovestruck zombies make it work in the end?
Also starring in CHOLO ZOMBIES: MONSTRO are Lilith Vampz as “Monstra,” Carlos Carrasco as “Smiley,” Wilson Ramirez as “ Payaso,” and Brian Eric Johnson as “Sheriff Tom.”
Loretta Vampz is an actress, fashion designer, model and social media star based in Los Angeles. Loretta gives a horrifyingly lovable performance as “Vampz,” a beautiful but deadly zombie who is the first zombie to ever get pregnant. “Vampz” leaves her bumbling boyfriend “Monstro” for not marrying her after she had his zombie baby. Now she has to decide if she wants to take him back and truly become his forever ride-or-die, even though they’re already dead!
Vince Romo gives a brilliantly comic and sometimes horrifying performance as “Monstro” as he battles to keep his zombie family together and get back his love “Vampz.”
Lilith Vampz plays “Monstra,” the daughter of “Monstro” and “Vampz.” In her acting debut, Lilith gives a nuanced performance as the daughter torn between her mother and father. “Monstra” cannot choose between her parents after they are separated, and she finds herself in “split” custody by the judge.
CHOLO ZOMBIES: MONSTRO is the second movie in the trilogy from Producer Pete Bollinger, director Eric Rafael Ibarra, and writer/director Mark Newton. The first movie CHOLO ZOMBIES, is the origin story that reveals how these loco zombies were made. The film stars Paul Rodriguez, Carlos Carrasco, Vince Romo, and Loretta Vampz.
