Brawler #3 hits Kickstarter this April from Time Bomb Comics!
Following the massive successes of Brawler #1 and #2 in 2019 and 2021, Time Bomb Comics is proud to announce the genre-bending anthology’s return this April.
The new collection will be a 56-page, perfect bound, full-colour anthology featuring eight comic strips of unique characters in strange tales in amazing stories. The cover comes from comics legend John Higgins (Watchmen, 2000AD), and superstar writer Mike Carey (Lucifer, The Unwritten, Felix Castor) has used John’s cover image to inspire an exclusive prose story for Brawler’s third issue.
Brawler #3’s complete story list is: Wolfheart by Ferg Handley, James Devlin & Rob Jones; Major Rakhana by Steve Tanner, Pete Woods & Rob Jones; The Killing Stroke by Gary Crutchley & Matt Soffe; Space Banshee Exorcist by Katie Cunningham & Danielle Wiebe; Karl Kampe, Monster Hunter by Jorgen Karlsson, Hakan Aydin & Ichsan Ansor; Amnesia Agents by Jason Cobley & James Grey; Keiko Panda by Jason Cobley & Andrew Richmond and The Baker Street Irregulars by David Morris.
As with all Time Bomb Kickstarter campaigns, this comic has been fully completed and so the campaign functions as a way to pre-order the book and receive exclusive backer bonus rewards.
Time Bomb Chief and Brawler writer Steve Tanner said: “The comics anthology is as popular as ever. It’s a very British thing as far as comics are concerned, fueled by our unique comics history and driven by nostalgia. But contemporary anthology comics can’t succeed by just relying on the past, so Brawler is all about featuring some great current creators and their latest creations in its pages.”
“This time I also wanted to do something a bit different with our backer rewards,” continued Steve, “so rather than the limited print approach we’ve taken in the past, this time Brawler backers can get something that’s still inclusive but much more interactive – a core set of Brawler Battle Cards!”
