This CGC submission was built around creators and moments that actually matter to me. Todd McFarlane has always been at the center of that, but this wasn’t just about getting signatures, it was about bringing together books that represent different points in my collecting journey, from early Image history to personal upgrades.
Malibu Sun #13 (CGC SS 8.0)
Malibu Sun #13 is one of those early McFarlane pieces that always stood out to me. Getting it signed and preserved with a custom label felt like the right way to honor where Spawn really began.
Wizard Magazine #1 (CGC SS 9.2)
Wizard #1 captures a moment in comic culture that’s bigger than just one character. Adding Todd McFarlane’s signature ties that era directly to the creator who helped redefine it.
Spawn #4 (CGC SS 9.8)
Spawn #4 is a key early issue, and landing a 9.8 signed copy was important to me. It represents the foundation of everything that came after in the Spawn universe.
Spawn Batman (CGC X JSA 9.6)
This crossover speaks for itself. Todd McFarlane and Frank Miller on the same book is iconic, and having both signatures verified makes it feel like a true piece of comic history.
Spawn #119 (CGC SS 9.2)
Spawn #119 is a book I’m still building on, with plans to add Greg Capullo. Even as it stands, it represents a transition era that I’ve always appreciated in the series.
Spawn #185 Portacio Variant (CGC X JSA 9.8)
This one is special. A triple-signed copy with McFarlane, Whilce Portacio, and Brian Holguin, and a POP 1 for this cover. It’s a unique piece that stands out in the entire Spawn run.
Spawn #200 Silvestri Cover (CGC X JSA 9.2)
Spawn #200 is already a milestone, but this version adds even more with Marc Silvestri and Jon Goff. It’s a strong combination that highlights the Image Comics legacy.
Spawn #200 Liefeld Cover (CGC X JSA 9.8)
The Liefeld cover brings a different energy to Spawn #200. Having both McFarlane and Liefeld on the same book makes it a standout piece tied directly to Image’s foundation.
King Spawn #1 Capullo Variant (CGC SS 9.8)
King Spawn #1 with Capullo and McFarlane feels like a modern extension of everything that started in the ’90s. A clean 9.8 with both signatures makes it one of my favorite newer additions.
