McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Titano vs The Flash Two Pack Review

Introduction

As a collector, sometimes you come across a figure that you simply can’t pass up, and for me, that was Titano. A mechanical cyborg gorilla? I was all in. McFarlane Toys has put together an interesting 2-pack, featuring Titano alongside The Flash. While both figures rely heavily on reuse, there are still some standout elements that make this set worth considering.

Figure Breakdown

Titano – The Star of the Show

Let’s be honest—the main reason to buy this set is Titano. While he is a reuse of McFarlane’s Kong figure, the new mechanical parts look fantastic and help give him a distinct presence. However, his articulation is extremely limited, which is a letdown considering how massive and powerful he’s supposed to be. Even with that flaw, he still looks impressive on display.

The Flash – A Familiar Face

The Flash is essentially the same version we’ve seen before, just without the lightning effects, which is a bit disappointing. The sculpt is still solid, and the inclusion of a stand is a nice touch, but overall, there’s nothing new here.

Final Thoughts – Should You Buy It?

If you’re a fan of Titano, this set is probably worth picking up. Despite the reuse and limited articulation, his new sculpted elements and sheer size make him a standout piece for a Superman or DC Multiverse collection. The Flash, while a decent figure, is nothing new—so unless you’re a die-hard Flash fan, Titano is the main draw here.

Rating: 7/10

Verdict:

Buy it if you want Titano—otherwise, it’s a pass.
