That Crazy Cajun Gator makes his second appearance in the NECA turtles line and I am excited to say the least. I have went a head and split this review up as to give myself a chance to cover each two pack figure individually, so lets dive in. Starting with the head, I do love how he came out. The colors are great, and its nice to see that 80s version represented so well by NECA. The eyes look creepy but cool. And who doesn’t love a gator with a hat on his head. Another cool thing about the jaw is the painted teeth inside and the mouth inside being painted as well. The body on this guy has a lot of nice sculpting and paint across the board. The vest looks good and his belly has a nice look going for it as well. He has a ball peg at the tail that works okay, mine tends to pop out a bit. The belt clip on mine broke so be careful so it doesn’t break.
In terms of articulation, he overall works pretty good. I had to throw some shock oil on mine to get everything working but it all works pretty well. No different from what I would say Bebop or Rocksteady have. The use of double jointed knees and elbows does allow for fun posing which is cool. This guy is packed with a net, rope, ketchup gun, lobsters, bear traps, chains and lobsters, which is super cool. Overall this gator rolls into the figure world ready for action. I passed on the arcade version, and I am happy to see this one has a ton of cool items.now hopefully you pre-ordered on NECA’s site or found in the target because he is worth having. And if you didn’t find him yet, I’m sending good vibes your way so I hope you find him. I hope you enjoyed this quick review and I thank you so much for watching the review.
