The Super 7 Tmnt line is out in full effect, and the first figure in my hands is the SDCC exclusive Baxter Stockman. As you can see, he is packed in really cool packaging, but even the package holds a secret which I will talk about in a bit. This version differs from the regular release by being glow in the dark, but retains everything found in the standard release. He looks very cool in this color scheme so lets break it down. The headsculpt looks really good. It has that old school look that screams nostalgia. The same goes with the body. Down to the syringe and buttons Baxter has it all. The costume is of course done in the Playmate Toys style. I can’t remember if the old school release had the tear in the back, but I dig it on this verison. I love that Super 7 painted the fingernails and the wings look great. I wish the wings would lay flat on the back, but its not a deal breaker. The extra arms move really well, and I like that they are articulated. As far as articulation goes, he does move okay. He does have a solid amount of movement, but the diaphragm isn’t as effective as I would like it to be. And ankle rotation would have been nice.
