Transformers: The Movie Soundtrack Gets Recharged for a New Era

Autobots, Decepticons, and every child of the ’80s who still gets chills when “The Touch” kicks in this one is for YOU!

Reigning Phoenix Music and Hasbro are joining forces for THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE: THE SOUNDTRACK: THE REFORMATTED EDITION, a full-power, reimagined celebration of the legendary 1986 animated film soundtrack. Landing July 24, 2026, this release brings 10 re-recorded and reimagined tracks to streaming platforms and physical formats, including limited-edition LPs, CDs, cassette, and more.

And yes, family, Stan Bush is back! The voice that made an entire generation believe they could punch destiny in the face returns with new recordings of “The Touch” and “Dare.” That alone is enough to make Optimus Prime rise up and say, “Now that’s what I call an encore.”

Leading the sonic charge is KNIGHTS OF UNICRON, featuring Matt Harvey, Gus Rios, and Ross Sewage, with a monster lineup including Sebastian Bach, Brittney Slayes, Mark Osegueda, Francesco Cavalieri, Torch, and the legendary Vince DiCola. This isn’t just nostalgia — this is nostalgia thrown into a Cybertronian power amp and blasted into orbit.
