WEPAAA! Let’s throw up that indie pride flag and celebrate a creator who’s forging his own path, busting through gatekeepers, and giving fans straight-up fire comics without apology, the one and only Eric July and his Rippaverse Universe! 🚀👊🔥
Eric D. July isn’t just some dude with a dream, he built the universe. He’s a musician, YouTuber, commentator, and most importantly for today, the founder, CEO, and creative spark behind The Rippaverse. He invested his own cash, energy, and soul into it to make entertainment that honors fans and puts storytelling first.
The Rippaverse isn’t one knock-out book! It’s a whole ecosystem of characters, teams, and storytelling angles. Here’s the smash-up roster of titles that have exploded out of this independent powerhouse:
ISOM – The launch point. Written by Eric himself, this is where Avery Silman a Texas rancher turned reluctant superhero kicks off the universe. It’s gritty, character-driven, and packed with heart.
Alphacore – A team title packed with power and teamwork vibes, expanding the universe beyond the solo hero arc into society-level stakes.
Yaira – A standout anti-hero with ice powers and a shadowed past. Her stories blend mystery, action, and deeper themes even earning a Definitive Collection that compiles her first thrilling arcs into one tome.
Bloodruth – Raw and intense, these stories are a visceral ride brought to life by top talent and bold creative direction.
Goodyng: The Polymath, Norfrica, Salvage: Lethal Force, Saoirse, The Great War of Separation, The Horseman, and more each expanding the lore, adding color, vibrance, myth, and charisma to the Rippaverse mosaic.
And if that isn’t enough, the upcoming Rippaverse Omnibus rolls all this league of legends into one collectible monument the Founder’s Collection, a massive hardcover that’s equal parts history and hype.
Here’s where the celebration gets deep but dope: Rippaverse is built on a Code of Ethics that puts you the reader first. Respect the customer, uphold canon and continuity, and honor the timeline. That means Eric isn’t tossing out shallow, disposable content he’s building legacy.
And let’s talk milestones: ISOM #1’s campaign absolutely crushed it, pulling in millions straight out of the gate and proving that you don’t have to go through legacy publishers to make waves. In fact, it got talked about on The Joe Rogan Experience a sign that this isn’t niche, it’s culture.
Look comics should be for the fans, by the fans, and about something. Eric July didn’t just cash in on nostalgia; he took the blueprint of what comics meant to readers heart, depth, conflict, community and revived it. He’s a creator who doesn’t cave to trends, doesn’t bow to gatekeepers, and builds for the people who actually love comics. That’s bold. That’s real. That’s WEPA energy!
So here’s to Eric July the indie titan defying the odds, crafting something that resonates, and carving out a universe where continuity, creativity, and grit are the real heroes. May the Rippaverse keep growing, keep innovating, and keep showing the world exactly what independent comics look like when you put fans first and gatekeepers last.
WEPAAAA! Keep pushing, keep reading, and keep celebrating creators who build, not just complain!
