Leading up to this historic crossover, Smith dropped the perfect mic moment, sharing that ever since Mallrats featured the first Wolverine reference in movie history, he’s wanted Jay & Silent Bob to meet Marvel’s heroes in comic form. He even pitched the idea to Stan Lee himself back in 1995 while Stan was shooting his cameo. Now thirty years later Jays of Future Past stands as both a love letter to Marvel’s magic and proof that childhood dreams can still come true, even at 55.
