In the previous issue of Man-Eaters #10, we were left off with some interesting cliffhangers. Operation Mittleschmerz Phase 1, begins around the country with Maude rallying her fellow patients at the Ruminations Pantherism Recovery Clinic for Girls in Malibu. The Unicorn previously known as Sophie E., is actually Kevin. One of the girls broke into the torture/Gyno Suite in the basement in order to steal some documents that could be useful to the movement. Operation Mittleschwerz, is revealed to be happening globally right before the patients of Ruminations escape in a girl shaped zeppelin.
In the current issue of Man-Eaters #11, Operation Mittleschmerz Phase 2 begins. Maude reunites with her parents after the Top Secret operation at Ruminations. Aboard the Spuffy, the girl shaped zeppelins are revealed to be a Top Secret HQ for the Feminine rights Revolutionaries. We get a recap from Kevin, that seems to indicate that Estrocorp has more to do with the appearance of Pantherism than they admit, and their profiting from the Toxi Plasm problems is ridiculous. Tampon Woman makes a reappearance (Seriously can we get an action figure or a plush to or somethings already?).
Man-Eaters #11, is not a stand alone issue by that I mean you couldn’t just pick this off the shelf and had it to someone expecting them to know what the heck is going on which is why collecting the Man-Eaters TP Volume 1-3 may be a good idea( Volume3 comes out in November 6, 2019).
Don’t get it twisted, I don’t agree with all of Mccain’s political views, but I can’t applaud her enough for the attempt at putting her views on paper in a coherent and creative way. I guess that’s why I am resentful, that after reading yet another comic book about a mythical king and his magic sword, Man-Eaters is not getting enough attention except from people who obviously didn’t read it.
Man-Eaters #11 has two covers; Cover A+B were drawn b Lia Miternique.
