The galaxy’s most dysfunctional alien duo just crash-landed on Kickstarter. EARTH TO MARCY is a chaotic sci-fi comedy from debut writer Chris Conklin and producer Rafa Mussa, blending raunchy humor with synthetic fish sweat, feral queer energy, and a mission to destroy humanity… eventually.
The 28-page first issue features dynamic art by Renzo Ferrer, vibrant colors from Maria Pellegrino, lettering by Rob Jones, story editing from Claire Napier, and background design by Birdy LeBlanc.
Marcy and Chiana are just like any other twenty-somethings—if “twenty-somethings” means a former alien princess and her bestie-slash-stowaway who fled their exploding home world and crash-landed into a beach house in Southern California.
They’re Flurvixians—broke and officially planet-less—and they have to try to “fit in” on Earth, crashing rent-free with an oblivious human named Tucker, a sarcastic ship AI with boundary issues (GiNNA), and a stressed-out sea-slug servant known as the “Slug Butler.”

They may be fish-brained, slime-coated, and weirdly hot, but their mission is clear:
Destroy all humans.
Combining gleeful vulgarity, heart, and high-concept sci-fi weirdness, EARTH TO MARCY is the start of a bold new creator-owned series. Fans of Solar Opposites, Harley Quinn, and Invader Zim will feel right at home—if that home was engulfed in superheated plasma and shot into the sun.
The campaign is live now and runs through July 25th, 2025. Back it at: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/chrisconklin/earth-to-marcy-1-a-gleefully-vulgar-sci-fi-alien-comedy
