Todd McFarlane brings rare signed collectibles, comics, and personal archive items to Whatnot starting April 9, 2026.
TODD McFARLANE LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE LIVE SERIES FEATURING PIECES FROM HIS PERSONAL ARCHIVE
Todd McFarlane is not just showing up online. He is opening the vault.
Beginning April 9, 2026, the legendary creator of Spawn and CEO of McFarlane Toys is launching a brand-new recurring live series on Whatnot, giving fans direct access to pieces from his personal archive. And not the cute little leftovers either. We are talking about decades of collectibles, comics, memorabilia, and rare items that have not been sitting around in normal retail circulation for years.
The first live show goes down on Thursday, April 9 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM PST, with the second already locked in for April 23. After that, fans can expect the series to roll out every other Thursday, creating a regular hotspot for collectors, comic fans, and McFarlane diehards to tap in live.
Each show will feature items pulled directly from McFarlane’s personal archive, including rare comics and long-out-of-circulation merchandise like t-shirts, posters, patches, buttons, playing cards, and more. Every item sold during the livestreams will be signed by Todd McFarlane and come with a certificate of authenticity, which is the kind of detail that makes collectors start breathing a little heavier.
But this is not just about bidding wars and grail chasing.
The series is also designed to give fans direct access to McFarlane himself. During each livestream, he will be sharing stories from his career, answering fan questions, and when the moment hits right, creating live sketches that may also be offered up during the show. That means every stream has the potential to become its own special event.
“I am looking forward to interacting with the fans and being able to come up with some interesting, and at times, one-of-a-kind items beyond just comic books for these auctions as well as doing some sketches here and there and sharing some of the proceeds with various charities. Let’s go!!” said Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn and CEO of McFarlane Toys.
And because McFarlane clearly understands how to keep the energy all the way up, each show will also include giveaways, including one original sketch drawn live and awarded at the end of every show, plus additional comic giveaways throughout the broadcast.
“Access to Todd’s personal archive is a rare opportunity, and we’re excited to share it with the Whatnot community,” said Eric Shemtov, General Manager of Collectibles at Whatnot. “This series of live shows will connect fans directly to Todd as he tells the stories around the unique items he’s collected and created over the years, with a chance for those pieces to find new homes with fans.”
Looking ahead, the series is expected to grow even bigger with themed events centered around specific parts of McFarlane’s collection. That includes CGC Signature Series books, action figures, and rare pieces pulled from the McFarlane Warehouse. There is also talk of charity-focused streams and other special events as the series continues to evolve.
For comic fans, Spawn loyalists, and hardcore collectors, this is more than another livestream. This is a direct line into the history, creativity, and personal stash of one of comics’ most recognizable creators.
So yeah, if you have been waiting for a shot at rare signed McFarlane history, this is your cue to stop playing around.
Fans can follow Todd McFarlane’s official Whatnot channel to get notified when the shows go live and to jump into upcoming auctions and giveaways.
