Absolute Catwoman Scores Six More Issues as DC Extends Series Through 2027

WEPA! Now this is how you keep the excitement rolling, fam! DC just gave Selina Kyle six more issues to work her magic, and Absolute Catwoman is officially expanding from a six-issue miniseries to a full 12-issue run. That’s right, the cat burglar isn’t disappearing after her first big score. She’s sticking around in the Absolute Universe through 2027!

Che Grayson and Bengal are returning for issues #7 through #12, continuing the story they developed alongside Scott Snyder. That’s great news for readers who’ve been following this wild new interpretation of Selina. The Absolute line has been shaking up familiar DC characters, and giving this creative team more room to explore Gotham’s most resourceful thief opens the door to bigger schemes, unexpected alliances, and plenty more trouble.

Grayson shared her excitement about continuing Selina’s journey, promising that the next stretch will strengthen her connections to Gotham and places beyond it. Bengal also celebrated the opportunity to keep drawing the character and building on the series’ energetic storytelling. And Snyder? He’s cheering on the team while teasing that the events surrounding Absolute Batman #25 have been part of the larger plan for Selina from the beginning.

Here’s where things get interesting, Crusaders. The next issue isn’t waiting until next year. Absolute Catwoman #4 hits comic shops and participating digital retailers on November 4, 2026. Selina and the Calicos are pulling together for another heist, racing Cassandra Cain and the League of Shadows to secure the Yarn, described as the world’s most powerful supercomputer. That’s a serious prize, and you know nobody in this crowd is going to play nice when it’s on the line!

I’m always happy to see a comic creative team get more breathing room, especially when it means the story can develop beyond its original endpoint. More Selina, more Gotham, and more chances for Grayson and Bengal to make this version of Catwoman their own? Yeah, fam, count me interested.

Keep your eyes on DC’s official announcement for the latest updates. And as always, stay locked to Comic Crusaders for more comic book news. WEPA!
