CORPSE KNIGHT #6 Brings Foy’s Dark Journey to a Brutal Final Choice
·Juan James

Foy’s journey is heading straight into its final, brutal chapter.
Skybound and Image Comics have revealed a first look at Corpse Knight #6, the conclusion to the dark fantasy and horror miniseries from writer and co-creator Michael Chaves, artist and co-creator Matthew Roberts, and colorist Rico Renzi.
The finale arrives in comic shops on September 23, 2026, and the stakes could not be much higher. Foy has learned more about the mysterious power connected to her, but using that power means risking everything in a desperate attempt to save her father. The real question hanging over the finale is whether fixing what has been broken will demand a price she cannot afford to pay.
Corpse Knight has spent its run building a grim story around family, death, miracles, and the terrible things people are willing to endure for the ones they love. The final issue appears ready to push that idea to its breaking point as Foy must make a decision that could define not only her future, but the fate of her father as well.
The series has blended historical fantasy with supernatural horror, following Foy through a world scarred by war, violence, and black magic. Her father’s return from death gave her protection, but it also opened the door to questions about what exactly came back with him and what the miracle truly cost.
Michael Chaves, known for his work in The Conjuring film universe, closes out the six-issue story alongside Matthew Roberts, whose detailed, atmospheric art has given the book its haunting visual identity. Rico Renzi returns on colors, helping bring the series’ supernatural world to life as the story reaches its final confrontation.
The creative team has steadily expanded the mystery around the Corpse Knight and Foy’s connection to the forces surrounding her, making issue #6 less about simply surviving another battle and more about understanding what all of those choices have been building toward.
Skybound and Image Comics are sending the miniseries out with five covers. The main cover comes from Matthew Roberts and Rico Renzi, while the variant lineup includes Jorge Corona and Mike Spicer, Tonči Zonjić, Nimit Malavia, and Ito.

Six issues of grief, monsters, family, and forbidden power all come down to one final choice. If Corpse Knight has taught Foy anything, it is that miracles rarely arrive without consequences. Now she has to decide whether saving her father is worth whatever comes next.
