WEPAAAA! PANCHO VILLA RIDES AGAIN AND THIS TIME, THE REVOLUTION HAS MONSTERS TO KILL!

Comic Crusaders is fired up to spotlight the upcoming release of PANCHO VILLA MONSTER HUNTER #1 (OF 3), a bold new limited series from Chispa Comics hitting comic shops this September. And mi gente, this ain’t your dusty history lesson from the back of a classroom. This is revolution, rage, rune-glowing pistols, cosmic horror, and enough supernatural smoke to make the monsters wish they stayed buried.

Set against the blistering chaos of the Mexican Revolution, the series reimagines Pancho Villa as both fierce revolutionary and relentless monster hunter. Haunted by the savage death of his sister at the claws of eldritch hounds, Villa charges into battle armed with ancient pistols forged to send nightmares back to whatever cursed pit they crawled out of.

As the Battle of Torreón explodes around him, Villa uncovers a blasphemous cult led by the shadowy Dr. Nyarla, a villain unleashing Lovecraftian horrors with one goal: devour México’s soul from the inside out. But Villa isn’t riding alone. At his side stand the fearless soldadera Petra Herrera, the mysterious alchemist Sabia, and the cynical German expatriate El Alemán — a crew built for bullets, blood, and bad decisions.

Blending historical fiction, Western grit, and cosmic horror, PANCHO VILLA MONSTER HUNTER #1 looks ready to hit that sweet spot for fans of Hellboy, The Sixth Gun, and The Umbrella Academy, big action, strange mythology, and monsters getting handled like they owe somebody money.
