Arthur Adams Steps Inside TERMINAL #6 for a Major December Reveal
·Al Mega

“Terminal is a bold, bloody, cosmic-powered debut that gives readers mystery, action, horror, and enough emotional tension to make the chaos matter. It feels like superhero comics with the safety rails ripped off.” – Comic Crusaders
Fam, Skybound and Image Comics just pulled one hell of a move for Terminal #6. Comic book legend Arthur Adams is stepping back into interior art, and yeah, that means he is finally getting inside the pages of Terminal proper. For longtime comic heads, that alone is enough to make this issue worth circling on the calendar.
Terminal already came out swinging with a ridiculous lineup of talent behind it, including Robert Kirkman, Joe Casey, Andy Kubert, David Finch, and Adams himself. That is not a creative team. That is the kind of roster where you look around the room and wonder who the hell let all these heavy hitters onto the same project.
Now Adams gets his turn inside the book with Terminal #6, hitting comic shops December 23, 2026, and Skybound is teasing this one like somebody is about to kick over the whole damn table. The big question hanging over everything is the mystery of the Obelisk, but apparently that is only part of the problem. There is also some hidden cost behind this superhuman war, and from the way they are talking, whatever gets revealed here is supposed to change how readers look at the entire series.
Skybound Editorial Director Alex Antone is not exactly being subtle about it either. He says Adams drawing the issue is a major deal, jokes that technically Adams has already done two issues if you count the secret blind bag edition, then drops the bigger tease: Terminal #6 contains revelations that could reframe the entire series. Oh, and just because apparently this issue needed even more sauce, Frank Quitely is jumping in with a cover too.

The cover lineup is straight-up ridiculous. Arthur Adams and Dave McCaig handle the main cover, with open-to-order variants from David Finch and McCaig, Andy Kubert and McCaig, plus Quitely making his Terminal cover debut. Then you have the collector bait coming in hot with a 1:25 Ben Oliver variant, a 1:50 Jae Lee and June Chung variant, and a 1:100 Whilce Portacio and Dean White variant. Basically, good luck walking into your shop and pretending you are only buying one copy.
What makes Terminal interesting is that it is not trying to play nice with superhero conventions. The whole thing has been sold as violent, unpredictable, and built for readers who like the wild swings of Invincible mixed with the energy of classic X-Men. With Kirkman, Casey, Kubert, Adams, and Finch all bringing their own flavor to the table, the series is stacked with creators who have already left fingerprints all over superhero comics.
The rest of the team is no lightweight operation either, with Sandra Hope on inks, Dave McCaig on colors, and Rus Wooton on letters. That is a crew built to make big superhero chaos look clean on the page, and with Adams now handling interiors, Terminal #6 suddenly feels like one of those issues collectors and art junkies are going to be watching very closely.
So yeah, December 23 might be dangerously close to Christmas, but Skybound clearly does not care about your holiday budget. Arthur Adams interiors, Frank Quitely on a cover, a mystery around the Obelisk, and some allegedly game-changing reveal waiting in the wings? Mi gente, this one sounds like it is coming to wreck your pull list right before Santa even gets the sleigh out.
