Music, toys, and tech just linked up and formed a supergroup. Say hello to Beat Squad™, the next evolution of play.
Timed with New York Toy Fair, Doozi Products has officially launched Beat Squad™, an NFC-powered line of Beat Making Collectible Figures that fuse hands-on collectible fun with real-deal music production. This isn’t pretend play—it’s tap-to-make-beats magic. Using the free Beat Squad app on iPhone and Android, users simply tap a figure to their phone and instantly unlock an intuitive beat-making interface loaded with professionally produced loops. No pairing, no cables, no tech headaches—just tap and go. Each figure is priced at $15 and available individually, in genre-specific 3-packs, or in Genre MashUp 5-packs, with the Kickstarter campaign live as of February 11, 2026 at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/444492677/beat-squadtm.
Beat Squad isn’t just about sound—it’s about character. Each figure is a highly detailed, 3D-printed, human-like animal personality inspired by a specific instrument and musical style, forming a rhythm-driven universe where every character brings their own vibe. Series 1 launches with five genres—K-Pop, Hip-Hop, Rock, Pop, and Country—each featuring three unique performers, with additional waves already planned. Short-form animated content across social media extends these personalities beyond the physical product, building an evolving Beat Squad universe.
Tap. Stack. Create. Save. Share. Every Beat Making Collectible Figure unlocks eight original music loops created by real-world producers and a clean, user-friendly interface designed for instant creativity. Inside the app, users can layer multiple loops to build full beats, balance and mix volume levels, add themed One-Shot FX, record their own voice or any sound in real time, and save, store, and share their creations.
Want more energy and personality? Beat Squad also offers One-Shot FX—themed sound packs featuring short, single-hit effects like drum smacks, crowd cheers, engine revs, or sci-fi blasts. Tapping a One-Shot FX to a phone unlocks ten themed sounds inside the app, with available collections including Sports FX, Drum FX, Auto FX, Horror FX, City FX, and Sci-Fi FX, each priced at $5.
Sharing goes physical with BeatPods, compact pods that save and store custom beats so friends can tap and instantly listen. Priced at just $3, BeatPods make music tangible, collectible, and social in a way digital platforms never could.
Beat Squad is also built responsibly, using an eco-friendly, made-to-order micro-factory model that 3D prints figures locally in each market and ships directly to consumers. This approach reduces overseas shipping, excess inventory waste, and environmental impact. Initial production uses PLA, with a transition underway toward PHA, a next-generation material that is fully biodegradable, 100% compostable, and free of harmful microplastics, with the long-term goal of reaching 100% PHA production.
Beat Squad merges collectible figures, mobile technology, and professional music production into a seamless creative experience. No subscriptions. No complicated setup. Just play with your music.
The experienced creative team behind Beat Squad brings serious credibility, led by toy industry veteran Mike Goldman, whose career spans Mattel, Tyco, and Galoob, and includes the creation of the #1-selling Phlat Ball®. He’s joined by Joel Eden, PhD, formerly of Disney Animation Studios and Google, and music development driven by multi-platinum producer Sean Myer, whose work has generated more than six billion streams worldwide, alongside producer George X.
Together with a growing network of designers and collaborators, the team delivers industry-level creative direction and real-world music credibility.
The Beat Squad™ Kickstarter launched February 11, 2026, with retail expansion planned following the campaign. This isn’t just a toy or an app—it’s a new way to create, collect, and connect through music. Beat Squad is here, and it’s time to play WITH your sound.
