Denver Fan Expo 2021 Special Edition October 30th Review

As stated in an earlier post, this was my first time back at a convention post pandemic, and I was a little nervous going into it. However, after arriving, my fears were put to rest. The rebranded Denver Fan Expo is in full swing and this event was done really well. I am really impressed with the level of care and kindness the Fan Expo team this year did. I say this because this new change felt a bit like the old event, but felt quite a bit more full of tender love and care than before.. The staff was kind, moving around was safe, and it was nice once again to escape into the nerdverse.

Todays event was super busy, yet easy to manage. Its strange seeing the Convention Center full again, but it felt nice. Its nice to see people be safe and have fun. I think one of the things I really admired was everyone following the rules. Masks were required at the event, and not once during the day did I see anyone try to break the rules. Its nice to see staff stay on top of their game if something should happen, but its very nice to see the community be respectful of the rules.

As for the event itself, everything was one simple word…FUN!!! Everywhere I looked people were having fun. You go down the aisles you see people buying items and enjoying themselves. You see people waiting in line, they are talking and sharing things about the con. The staff have a friendly attitude and are willing to help out. The artists in the alley are talking and sharing things about their work. It was a good experience. I am really proud to see the convention have such a positive attitude. Check out some photos below of the event on day two, and I will be back on Day 3.
