“As we count down to Ultraman’s 60th anniversary, we’re thrilled to partner with Kyuramen, which one of the fastest growing ramen chains in the U.S., to bring the Ultraman universe to life in a fun, flavorful way,” said David Kornblum, President and CEO of Tsuburaya Fields Media & Entertainment. “It’s the perfect pairing of two cultural icons, coming together to inspire a new generation of fans in North America.”
At the heart of the partnership is a special Ultraman collab meal: a whimsical Ultraman Curry Rice, with rice molded into Ultraman’s iconic silhouette and detailed with cheese, paired with crispy tonkatsu and rich curry sauce. Guests can also enjoy Ultraman-stamped Pork Bao Buns, adding a playful touch to Kyuramen’s signature dish. The limited-time offerings will be available for dine-in only at 20 participating Kyuramen locations.
In addition to the meal, fans can look forward to exclusive Ultraman merchandise, including collectible stickers and fridge magnets redeemable with collab meal purchases, and a limited-edition tote bag and folder available to attendees of two major Ultraman U.S. events taking place this November:
- Ultraman Live Stage Show at American Dream Mall, Court A (Nov. 15–23, 2025, East Rutherford, NJ) — featuring the 1966 OG Ultraman, Ultraman Omega, and iconic Kaiju in an immersive stage performance.
- Ultraman x Japan Society Special Evening (Nov. 18, 2025, 6–8 pm, New York, NY) — a one-night program including a stage show and screening of the dubbed Ultraman Omega 2025 series. Additional details to be shared in the coming weeks.
These events highlight the broader cultural dimension and mark Ultraman’s growing presence in North America. A QR code will be included on each event poster, allowing attendees to scan and receive a coupon with instructions on how to redeem exclusive merchandise in a restaurant.
“At Kyuramen, we are committed to offering an immersive experience of Japanese culture, both through the flavors we serve and the moments we create for our guests,” said Gary Lin, Founder of Kyuramen. “Partnering with Ultraman, an icon that has inspired generations of fans, is very much on brand. We’re thrilled to bring fans together over our signature dishes while celebrating six decades of this legendary superhero.”
This collaboration also marks the start of Kyuramen’s broader vision to introduce authentic, affordable ramen through creative partnerships. By connecting with beloved characters and cultural icons, the brand aims to make Japanese dining experiences more accessible, memorable, and fun for guests of all ages.
A 130 foot tall red and silver Giant of Light, Ultraman came to Earth from across the galaxy to protect humanity from invading aliens and giant monsters called Kaiju. Helmed by Tsuburaya Productions, the Ultraman Universe first debuted in 1966 with the launch of the television series Ultra Q. For nearly sixty years, the Ultraman franchise has spawned a record number of TV shows, films, video games, and more. Audiences can easily access the exciting universe of Ultraman via the Ultraman Official English YouTube Channel, Prime Video, Tubi, Roku, Pluto, and various other streaming platforms, where they can find hundreds of hours of content spanning the long-established blockbuster franchise. As Ultraman continues to captivate new audiences around the world, this latest partnership with Kyuramen highlights an exciting new chapter in the evolution of this iconic brand as they kick off their 60th anniversary campaign for 2026.
“As we head toward this milestone year, we look forward to inspiring more fans in the U.S. with the Ultraman universe, through food, events, and new stories on screen,” added Wakita.
