NEW PROJECT ‘girl music vol. 1’ OUT NOW
2X Diamond-certified superstar, songwriter, producer, and EZMNY Records CEO/Co-Founder Ty Dolla $ign releases the official music video for “bad bitch alert,” the standout single from his newly released EP girl music vol. 1, out now via Atlantic Records.
Directed by David Sabastian and the imagination Department and starring Brittany Leigh Mae, the video centers on the groom and his bride throughout their wedding day. The visual moves between scenes of the smiling bride to Ty serenading her while playing guitar, and the two toasting with Ty’s champagne, Le Bon Argent.
“bad bitch alert” appears on girl music vol. 1, Ty’s latest project inspired by a conversation about the kind of music women want to hear for every moment—from getting ready to going out. The six-track project highlights three generations of R&B through collaborations with Ronald Isley of The Isley Brothers, GRAMMY® Award-winning icon Brandy, and rising R&B star and EZMNY Records’ own, Leon Thomas.
With girl music vol. 1, Ty returns to the musical, R&B-driven sound that longtime fans know him for. Created with women in mind, the project was sparked by a real dinner conversation in New York City and aims to bring back the kind of music that fits every mood—whether getting ready, heading to the club, or thinking about a new crush.
