McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Batman The Ultimate Movie Collection Six Pack Figure Review
Today in the Toyverse I wanted to highlight in photos the Batman Movie Six Pack Ultimate Collection from McFarlane Toys. This amazing set has everything a person who loves movie Batman in it, with the exception of course of the 66′ Batman. Why he is not included I have no idea, but this set is still pretty awesome from a display and packaging design. So enjoy the photos and quick thoughts of each of the figures in this set, along with my thoughts on the included Bat Signal.
1989 Batman:
When it comes to 89 Batman and McFarlane, all that has been said can be brought up in my recent review on the Amazon Exclusive Gold Label version. It is the same figure, and like that version only has fists to punch out those who are up to no good. However for those that missed out, this gives you a bit more screen accurate version. Included is a cool foil card, stand, and Bat Signal logo that reflects his era on film. Overall not bad for those who missed out.
Batman Forever:
When it comes to this Batman, he may be the best overall Batman in the set. I don’t know if it is because it is a new mold, nostalgia, or a bit of both, but I really like this figure a lot. I remember seeing Batman Forever at the theater and being excited as a kid. Being honest, I have seen every Batman film since 89 at the theater and been happy, so what does that say? Lots of detail, soft goods cape, and cool sculpt. Included is a base, a shared Bat Signal logo, and trading card.
Batman & Robin Batman:
If you would of told me that I would be excited for a Bat figure with Bat nipples on them, I would of called you a fool. With that being said, this is actually my second favorite Batman from the set. Look, I have been har don the George Clooney Batman in years past, but it represents a simpler time and the figure is done really good. I am excited to see this upcoming wave join my collection. Included is a trading card, stand, and a shared Bat Signal piece.
The Dark Knight Trilogy Batman:
The next figure in the wave in a rerelease of the Dark Knight Batman. He now has two closed fists, a cloth cape, and some added paint to hands and belt. He looks good, but if you already have him its a bit hard to jump for joy. However if this is your first time picking him up, he is a solid Batman figure. Included is a base, card, and new Bat Signal piece that shows the Dark Knight logo.
Justice League Tactical Suit Batman:
Out of all the figures announced and packed in, this is the one I may be the most disappointed in. Now don’t get me wrong, its a beautiful sculpt, and the head looks fantastic, but I was really hoping for a new version of either the BVS suit, or the regular Justice League suit. This marks the fourth time we see this mold being used and it just isn’t as fun the fourth ride. He comes packed in with a card, new Bat Signal logo, and stand.
The Batman:
The last figure in the set is the newest Batman to suit up, and this Batman figure is done pretty good. We have seen this figure before, but he now has a straight on look, some paint, and a soft goods cape. He is done pretty good. Packed in is the new Bat Signal logo, stand, and card.
Bat Signal:
The final piece in this massive box set is the Bat Signal. I have to say it is a cool piece. It lights up, has four face plates, and makes a great display piece. It is a great piece that has a lot of appeal. And the best part? It came with batteries. overall if you can get this set for retail, pick it up.
