RUNNER Trailer Unleashes Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson Into a Deadly Race Against Time

Angel Studios’ new action thriller turns a lifesaving medical delivery into an explosive battle against a ruthless cartel.

Angel Studios has dropped the first trailer and new images for RUNNER, an adrenaline-fueled action thriller starring Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson.

Ritchson plays Hank, a former soldier pulled into a brutal race against time when a critical medical delivery makes him the target of dangerous cartel forces. With enemies closing in and betrayal waiting around every corner, Hank must survive the chase and deliver the cargo before an innocent child runs out of time.  Yeah, fam, this is not your average delivery gig. No tips, no five-star review, just mercenaries, cartel heat, flying bullets, and a ticking clock.

Directed by Scott Waugh and written by Miles Hubley and Tommy White, RUNNER races into theaters on September 11, 2026. The cast also includes Rodrigo Santoro, Leila George, Kate Box, Peta Sergeant, Geraldine Hakewill, Cecilia Toussaint, and Scarlett Crabtree.
