REVIEW: Tower of God Episode 13 – Tower of God (No Spoilers RECAP)

Tower of God/ Kami no Tou Episode 13 ”“ Tower of God

There was a Boy in love with a girl with a dream.
The Girl with the dream wanted something more out of life, she wanted to rise so high that she could look at the stars, but the only peak high enough is the Tower of God.

The girl goes for it, leaving boy behind; to get to the top of the Tower of God. Girl arrives at the Tower of God but is denied access, only for it to be revealed that she cannot go any further, because the success lies in completing her own personal trials and tribulations that she is too weak for.

Boy still wants to be with girl, so he contrives a plan to interject himself into her world.
Boy, with the help of a princess goes through a crucible tests and challenges just to be with the girl.

Boy“s selfless devotion to helping others helps him gains friends and spiritual growth, along the way. As a result, the boy gets closer to achieving the girl“s dreams than she ever could. Girl gets back together with boy to exploit his newly acquired prosperity, hoping it will help her achieve her own goals.

The Girls avarice and jealousy won“t allow her to enjoy this time together, and anyway she has sown a deal with the caretaker that if she destroys the boy, her dream will be achieved. After lying to the boy“s friends, they agree to help her to achieve her goal.

Tower of God is one of the first Korean manhwa to be turned into an anime. As such Tower of God is easily one of the year’s best anime, and you can count me as one of the fans that are eager to find out whether there is more to come. The way it ended; it makes sense for a new season to be ordered.  Until then fans will follow the Tower of God storyline on Webtoons.
