CURTIS FORTIER & WILL DIXON ROLL INTO 12 SIDED DIE: SEASON 2 | GEEKFEST x COMIC CRUSADERS

WEPA, Crusaders! Curtis Fortier and Will Dixon join Al Mega for another GeekFest x Comic Crusaders Special as we roll into the wonderfully geeky world of 12 Sided Die: Season 2, the award-winning romantic-comedy web series about friends, relationships and their shared obsession with tabletop RPGs. Curtis created, writes, executive produces and stars in the series, while Will brings a completely different perspective as the Season 2 Production Designer and the actor behind Gerard in 12 Sided Die: Sidequests V-X.

This conversation gets into what it takes to actually BUILD this world, from Curtis turning RPG culture and friendship into comedy to Will handling the physical look of Season 2 before stepping in front of the damn camera himself. We talk indie filmmaking, production design, the insanity of wearing multiple hats, shooting at The Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach, and bringing Tim Russ behind the camera to direct Season 2.

There’s also plenty to talk about with the cast. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine alumni Andrew Robinson and Kitty Swink join Season 2 as special guest stars, while GeekFest Year 13 selected 12 Sided Die: Ready Player Five, a 14-minute chapter directed by Russ and featuring Robinson, Fortier and Kris Wood-Bell. The official 12 Sided Die site also lists Season 2 among its award-winning festival run, so these cats have been putting some miles on those dice.

We’re not here to explain the whole damn series before you watch the interview. Hit PLAY and hang with Curtis Fortier, Will Dixon and Al Mega as we talk RPGs, comedy, production design, acting, GeekFest and what happens when an indie production decides everybody apparently needs seventeen different jobs.
