Dead Sky Publishing Announces Free Comics at NYCC 2024

Inherently dark across a spectrum of genres and formats, Dead Sky offers  comics on Thursday, plus signings and so much more!

Dead Sky Publishing is excited to announce their attendance at New York Comic Con 2024, in New York City this weekend, at Booth #2140!

Perfect for spooky season and beyond, along with its Death’s Head Press imprint, Dead Sky Publishing publishes work that is inherently dark across a spectrum of genres and formats. From non-fiction to memoirs, from comic books to novels, from art books and photography books to short story collections.

Just released is CORVUS #1, the exciting debut space thriller written by Ringo Nominated Buddy Beaudoin (Gatchaman), with art by Cape Town based illustrator illustrated by Christopher Sassman (Territory, The Darden House), and colors by Allison Hu (LTTRS, Ashes & Dust, Elsewhere)—dares to tackles trauma, video games, and a touch of Norse mythology.

The publisher will be providing FREE COMICS Thursday, Oct. 17th and the Corvus creative team will be signing Friday and Saturday at the Dead Sky Publishing booth from 5 – 7 p.m.

When you stare into the stars at night, could you ever imagine what’s staring back could be so…familiar? Aboard Corvus, you’ll explore space,  trauma, delicate interpersonal relationships, and quite often, your own mind as a race of alien beings known as The Mare bring you to the brink of your consciousness and threaten to destroy Earth.

Daryn Dall is just a normal dude working at a video game store when his life gets turned upside down by some freaky looking aliens, a journey into his own subconscious, and an intergalactic grassroots paramilitary group. Just another day at Game Space!
