Her Majesty Studios Expands “The Matriarch” Universe with Liberty’s Freedom, a 58-Page Extended-Length Comic

Her Majesty Studios, a division of House of Majesty, proudly announces the release of its debut comic book, The Matriarch: Liberty’s Freedom, a 58- page extended-length, perfect-bound comic book expanding the world of the award- winning The Matriarch proof-of-concept trailer, recognized at multiple film festivals.

A bold and cinematic spin-off rooted in the larger Matriarch universe, Liberty’s Freedom delivers a gripping, high-stakes narrative centered on a relentless female anti-hero navigating violence, justice, and survival within a brutal matriarchal system. The story follows Liberty, a former Marine driven by loss and vengeance, whose path of destruction leads her into the crosshairs of a mysterious organization known as “The Code,” a shadow network operating far beyond the surface of her mission.

Blending raw emotional depth with explosive action, Liberty’s Freedom offers readers a visceral experience that rivals the intensity of blockbuster films while laying the groundwork for a larger interconnected universe across comics, film, and television.

“This isn’t just a story about revenge, it’s about power, survival, and what happens when someone who’s been broken decides to take control of their own narrative,” said Octavia Ethridge, Creator and Co-Writer. “The Matriarch universe is just the beginning of something much bigger. The story was created by Octavia Ethridge and co-written alongside Philip E. Odiete, combining cinematic storytelling with layered world-building and complex character dynamics. Liberty’s Freedom introduces key elements that will shape future installments, including deeper insight into “The Code” and the forces controlling power behind the scenes.

As Her Majesty Studios’ first official comic release, Liberty’s Freedom marks a major step in the company’s mission to develop high-concept, original intellectual property across multiple
