Puerto Rico Comic Con 2026 Is Ready to Explode with “Feel the Hype” Energy Across the Caribbean

More than 50,000 fans, major celebrity guests, local creators, cosplay, comics, anime, gaming, and exclusive experiences are set to take over the Puerto Rico Convention Center from April 3 to 5.

The countdown is officially on!

From April 3 through April 5, the Puerto Rico Convention Center will transform into the ultimate headquarters for fandom as Puerto Rico Comic Con 2026 returns to deliver what promises to be its biggest, boldest, and most electrifying celebration yet. Rocking this year’s slogan, “Feel the Hype,” PRCC 2026 is gearing up to once again prove why it stands as the largest entertainment event in the Caribbean.

For three straight days, the island will be buzzing with the kind of energy only pop culture can create. Fans of film, television, anime, video games, comics, cosplay, collectibles, and art will come together for a massive weekend fueled by imagination, creativity, and community. This is not just another convention. This is a full-blown fandom takeover.

More than 50,000 attendees are expected to flood the event across the weekend, joining hundreds of exhibitors, independent artists, creators, and major brands showcasing the latest in merchandise, art, collectibles, and immersive entertainment experiences. In other words, if you love geek culture, this is where you need to be.

Puerto Rico Comic Con has become much more than an event; it’s a meeting point for creative communities, fans, and entertainment industry professionals,” said Ricardo Carrión, founder and executive producer of PRCC. “Each year we strive to elevate the experience and offer something new to our followers. This year, we invite everyone to come and feel the hype of a celebration that continues to grow and evolve alongside pop culture.

And yeah, this year’s guest list is already bringing serious heat.

Big names. Big fandom. Big hype.

Puerto Rico Comic Con 2026 will welcome an impressive lineup of entertainment and comic book talent from across film, television, anime, animation, and comics.

Among the confirmed guests:

Jamie Campbell Bower — the fan-favorite actor recognized around the world for his chilling performance as Vecna in Netflix’s Stranger Things, along with major roles in Harry Potter and The Twilight Saga.

Ron Perlman — the legendary actor known for bringing Hellboy to life on the big screen and for unforgettable performances in Sons of Anarchy and multiple Guillermo del Toro films.

Sean Schemmel — the iconic English voice of Goku from Dragon Ball Z, one of the most influential anime franchises of all time. Yeah, that Goku.

Vivienne Medrano — the animator and creator behind Hazbin Hotel, the breakout animated phenomenon that built a huge following online before becoming a major streaming sensation.

Jerome Opeña — the powerhouse comic book artist whose dynamic and detailed work has helped define major Marvel titles including Uncanny X-Force, Avengers, and Infinity.

Fans will get the chance to experience panels, autograph signings, photo ops, and special presentations, with even more guests expected to be announced. So yes, the hype train has absolutely left the station.

A huge spotlight on Puerto Rican creativity

One of the most important things about Puerto Rico Comic Con is that it is not only a place for global stars. It is also a major platform for the island’s own creative community.

This year’s edition will feature more than 450 exhibitors, artists, and local creators, giving Puerto Rican talent a major stage to showcase their work in front of tens of thousands of fans. From comic creators and illustrators to artisans, designers, and entertainment entrepreneurs, PRCC continues to serve as a powerful meeting ground where local talent gets to connect, sell, grow, and shine.

That matters.

Because events like this are not just about fandom. They are about building culture, building opportunity, and building a creative ecosystem that keeps leveling up year after year.

A new addition brings Puerto Rican comics to the screen

One of the coolest additions to PRCC 2026 is Superhero Fest 2026, a festival created to bring Puerto Rican comics from the page to the screen through short films inspired by the work of local creators.

Organized by the film collective Cine Movida in collaboration with Puerto Rico Comic Con, the initiative will give attendees the chance to watch cinematic adaptations of comics created on the island. That is a slick, forward-thinking move that celebrates both Puerto Rican comic book talent and the continued rise of independent Puerto Rican cinema.

That is the kind of move that makes this event feel bigger than just a convention. That is ecosystem-building. That is culture-growing. That is how you create legacy.

Something for every kind of fan

Throughout all three days, fans can expect a packed schedule of activities and attractions, including:

And of course, the always-hyped Cosplay Showcase is returning as one of the weekend’s biggest attractions, bringing together fans in jaw-dropping costumes inspired by characters from movies, television, anime, comics, and video games. You already know that floor is going to be full of next-level creativity.

Carrión summed it up perfectly:

The enthusiasm we experience every year at the PRCC is a testament to the growth of pop culture as a cultural and economic phenomenon. We are very proud to see how this event has become a space where creativity, entertainment, and community converge.

That right there is the mission. And Puerto Rico Comic Con 2026 looks ready to deliver on all of it.
