Bullet Adventures Volume 2: Field Tripping Launches on Kickstarter

Altruist Comics is taking Bullet Adventures back on the road with Bullet Adventures Volume 2: Field Tripping, a new trade paperback now live on Kickstarter. The collection brings together issues #5-8 along with the The Relentless Adventure crossover, packing the second arc into one high-energy volume.
The title fits the material. Across this stretch of the series, the cast gets dragged through a mountain getaway, a class trip to an amusement park, time in China, and a West Coast stop where the arc’s subplot explodes into a showdown featuring the new hero Numb against Cupid, Diamond Dust, and Influencer. The collection also folds in Lainie’s corn-themed food festival visit from the crossover, because apparently superhero travel itineraries are allowed to get gloriously weird.
The physical edition leans into the kind of presentation longtime comic fans love. Field Tripping features a deluxe foldout cover with French flaps designed to showcase the widescreen artwork from the connecting variant covers. Altruist Comics publisher Randy Stone points directly to the influence of 1990s superhero comics, calling the format a chance to chase the same oversized visual excitement that made books like Jim Lee’s X-Men #1 feel like an event.
The creative lineup includes artwork by Nicolás Carrizo, André Risso, Bianca Milanez, and Francesca Cittarelli, with stories by Jordan Alsaqa and Mark O. Stack, lettering by Lucas Gattoni, and additional pinup work from Fanrong Ji and Marcus Jimenez. The mix gives the collection a broad range of visual voices while keeping the book anchored to the colorful, character-driven superhero energy that has defined the series.
For Altruist Comics, the campaign also continues its focus on emerging creators and creators from underrepresented backgrounds while building a catalog that jumps comfortably between superhero action, crime, horror, and all-ages material.
The Bullet Adventures Volume 2: Field Tripping Kickstarter campaign runs from September 1 through September 24, 2026. Readers can check out the campaign for pledge tiers, previews, and the full breakdown of the new collection.
