CONAN FACES A TIDAL WAVE OF DEATH IN TIDES OF THE TYRANT-KING #1

Titan Comics unleashes an exclusive trailer for the beginning of a massive new Conan the Barbarian crossover event

Crom! Conan is heading straight into another savage war, and this time, the dead are coming with him.

Titan Comics has revealed the official trailer for Conan: Tides of the Tyrant-King #1, the opening chapter of a brand-new crossover event from acclaimed writer Jim Zub and artist Jesús Merino. The 32-page, full-color issue charges into comic shops September 23, 2026, with a final order cutoff of Monday, August 31.

Conan of Cimmeria believed the sinister power of Thulsa Doom had been banished forever. Bad call, barbarian. The Atlantean necromancer’s darkness is rising once again, threatening to unleash an army of the dead upon the living. With the Tyrant-King of Atlantis returning to spread death and suffering across the land, Conan must gather his bravest allies and fight back before an unstoppable supernatural tide consumes them all.

Jim Zub has spent years building one of the most exciting modern eras of Conan, and Tides of the Tyrant-King looks ready to push that saga into full-blown crossover territory. Jesús Merino brings the steel, sorcery and bone-crushing scale needed for a battle involving Conan, Thulsa Doom and enough undead trouble to make any sane warrior run in the opposite direction. Fortunately, nobody has ever accused Conan of being sane.

The newly released trailer offers readers an early taste of the blood-soaked action, ancient evil and Hyborian Age spectacle waiting inside the first issue. Swords will swing, darkness will rise and Conan will once again be forced to remind the forces of evil why the name “Cimmerian” is usually the last word they hear.

Tides of the Tyrant-King #1 arrives at comic shops September 23 from Titan Comics. Readers who want to secure a copy should contact their local comic shop before the August 31 final order cutoff.
