Godzilla vs Everything: IDW Unleashes Four-Issue Kai-Sei Crossover in March 2027

IDW Publishing is bringing the entire Kai-Sei universe crashing together in GODZILLA VS EVERYTHING, a four-issue crossover event arriving in comic shops March 2027. We’re talking monsters, madness, cosmic destruction, and one seriously pissed-off King of the Monsters. Fam, this ain’t your average Tuesday in Tokyo!

New York Times bestselling writer Tim Seeley and artist Fero Pe are bringing the chaos, pulling together storylines that have been brewing since IDW launched its Kai-Sei era back in 2025. We’re talking GODZILLA, STARSHIP GODZILLA, DEADZONE, and THE HORROR OF GODZILLA, all colliding in one massive event. IDW has been playing the long game, and now it’s time to collect on all that destruction.

Here’s the problem, folks. Godzilla has reached his most powerful form yet, and apparently destroying a few buildings just doesn’t scratch that itch anymore. The big fella has his sights set on wiping out the entire planet. Humanity’s going to need more than tanks, fighter jets, and somebody yelling about launching another missile. Earth’s forces, along with some help from beyond, are preparing for a fight that could determine whether there’s even a planet left to save.

Seeley has been building toward this moment from the jump, working alongside editor Jake Williams and the creative teams to make the Kai-Sei universe feel like an interconnected world rather than a bunch of separate monster books sharing shelf space. According to Seeley, the plan was always to bring these characters together, whether they showed up as allies or enemies, and unleash a proper comic book crossover packed with everything Godzilla fans could want. Giant monsters throwing hands, unlikely alliances, and enough destruction to make an insurance adjuster quit on the spot? Yeah, that sounds about right.

The road to this monster-sized showdown is already underway. STARSHIP GODZILLA: INVASION X #1 and GODZILLA #13 are available now, while GODZILLA: REVENGE OF THE DEADZONE #1 hits comic shops October 28. Each title adds another piece to the puzzle before everything goes completely sideways in March. Meanwhile, GODZILLA #17 will close out the ongoing series and set the stage for the crossover.

Let’s talk numbers for a second because IDW isn’t playing around. Since launching the Kai-Sei era in July 2025, the publisher reports selling more than one million Godzilla comics and books. That’s a whole lot of radioactive love from readers, and it’s clear the King of the Monsters still has serious pulling power in comic shops.

Now comes the real test. Can Seeley, Pe, and the crew deliver a crossover worthy of that ridiculous title? With an entire universe of characters coming together and Godzilla operating at maximum destruction, the ingredients are certainly there.
