SDCC 2026: Judge Dredd and Biker Mice From Mars Are About to Tear Up Mega-City One

Oni Press, Rebellion, and The Nacelle Company launch a wild 22nd century crossover event with comics, collectibles, SDCC exclusives, and straight-up mayhem

WEPA! Somebody revved the engine too loud in Mega-City One, and now Judge Dredd is about to hand out justice with no chill whatsoever.

Oni Press, Rebellion, and The Nacelle Company have officially announced JUDGE DREDD / BIKER MICE FROM MARS #1, a two-issue deluxe-format comic book event launching in December 2026. Each issue will clock in at 40 pages, bringing together one of comics’ most feared lawmen and the hardest-riding mutant outlaws from Mars in a crossover that sounds absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way. Like, “who let the motorcycles into the dystopian police state?” ridiculous.

The series will be written by Dan Watters and Ryan O’Sullivan, with art by Jordi Tarragona. Covers will include work from David Finch, Karl Kerschl, Andrew Krahnke, and more creators still to be announced.

The story throws Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo straight into the chaos of Mega-City One after Limburger and Karbunkle set their greedy little sights on yet another world to exploit. Big mistake. Huge. Because once the Biker Mice land in Dredd’s city, they are not just dealing with pollution, crime, and 400 million angry citizens. They are dealing with Judge Dredd himself, the man who treats “talking it out” like a parking violation.

And because this crossover clearly woke up and chose violence, things get even nastier when the Biker Mice attract the attention of Judge Death. So now we have Martian rebels, Mega-City law, corporate scumbags, interdimensional chaos, and one undead nightmare sliding into the story like, “Mind if I ruin everybody’s day?” Beautiful. No notes.

This announcement also kicks off a new merchandising partnership between Rebellion and The Nacelle Company. Through Nacelle’s Consumer Products division, fans can expect a new line of highly detailed action figures and collectibles featuring crossover versions of Biker Mice From Mars and Judge Dredd characters. The first wave is expected to go up for pre-order this fall, with release planned for 2027.

But before the comics and toys roll out, SDCC attendees are getting a little Mega-City One flavor first. Beginning Thursday, July 23rd at Comic-Con International 2026 in San Diego, fans can take part in a special sticker rally. Hit the Rebellion booth #2121 to grab a free Mega-City One parking ticket with an official Department of Justice stamp. Then get it stamped again at the Nacelle Company booth #2547 and the Oni Press booth #1829. Survive the route, avoid the death penalty, and you could score one of only 500 limited-edition Judge Dredd / Biker Mice From Mars art prints featuring David Finch’s cover art.

Oni Press President and Publisher Hunter Gorinson called the partnership a thrill, praising the shared love for Judge Dredd, 2000 AD, and the creative team bringing the crossover to life.

Nacelle CEO Brian Volk-Weiss made it clear this one hits personal, saying he has been a massive Judge Dredd fan for at least 35 years and that getting to play in the Mega-City One sandbox is beyond a dream come true.

Rebellion’s Head of Publishing Ben Smith called the Biker Mice a perfect fit for Dredd’s radical, radioactive future and described the project as a revved-up, all-action spectacular for fans. Honestly? That sounds about right. This is not polite comics. This is “hold my helmet, I gotta fight the law” comics.

Created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra, Judge Dredd has been patrolling the dystopian streets of Mega-City One since his debut in 2000 AD in 1977. Across nearly five decades, he has battled everyone from Batman to Aliens and Predator, but Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo are bringing a whole different kind of problem to the block.

Meanwhile, Biker Mice From Mars, first introduced in 1993, continue riding into a new era. The franchise is also set for a brand-new animated series in 2027 from executive producers Brian Volk-Weiss, Ryan Reynolds, George Dewey, Matt Kravitsky, and Kevin Hill.

And the Nacelle celebration does not stop there. This July, Oni and Nacelle are also launching a Kickstarter campaign for THE ART OF THE TOYS THAT MADE US, two deluxe art books spotlighting the designs, artwork, advertising, concept art, and behind-the-scenes visuals tied to the hit streaming series created by Volk-Weiss. Then in August, fans get BIKER MICE FROM MARS: SCORCH #1, a new series exploring the origin of the newest Martian antihero from writer Matt Hotson and artist V Ken Marion.

Bottom line? JUDGE DREDD / BIKER MICE FROM MARS #1 is setting up one of the strangest, loudest, and most exciting crossover events of 2026. Mega-City One is about to get invaded by Martian biker chaos, and Judge Dredd is absolutely not emotionally prepared for this nonsense.

The law has entered the chat. The bikes are already running. December 2026 cannot get here fast enough.
