Steve Niles and Damien Worm Open the Doors to HEARTBREAK MANOR

·Al Mega

The 30 Days of Night and October Faction creators invite readers into a chilling new ghost story where the holidays get haunted, the walls whisper, and heartbreak checks in for the night.

WEPA, Crusaders! You know the holidays always bring family drama, but Heartbreak Manor said, “Hold my eggnog,” and turned Christmas into a full-blown Gothic nightmare.

Legendary horror writer Steve Niles and acclaimed artist Damien Worm reunite for a chilling new graphic novel about Sally Madison, a young orphan rescued by wealthy new parents and brought into a mansion where the rooms are locked, the walls feel alive, and everybody is acting way too suspicious for comfort.

Set in New York, 1912, this 100-page hardcover leans into old-school ghost story energy: less tech, more shadows, more secrets, more “why is that door breathing?” vibes. The book is written by Niles, illustrated and colored by Worm, and edited/lettered by Monica Richards, who is also helping create a 30-minute original soundtrack with Anthony Roumanis.

The Zoop campaign brings prints, signed books, soundtrack copies, remarques, and even a tier where fans can be drawn into the horror. So yeah, mi gente, this ain’t just a ghost story — it’s an invitation.

Enter Heartbreak Manor carefully. Because once the holidays get haunted, leaving early might not be an option.

The Zoop crowdfunding campaign is now live. To support the campaign, visit Zoop and be sure to follow Steve Niles on Bluesky, Instagram, and Facebook for more updates.
