The Titans are together one last time, mi gente.
Teen Titans: Together, the final chapter in Kami Garcia and Gabriel Picolo’s bestselling graphic novel series, is officially available wherever books are sold. After six graphic novels, countless emotional twists, and years of watching these young heroes grow into something bigger than themselves, Garcia and Picolo are bringing their beloved Teen Titans saga to an epic conclusion.
The series introduced readers to a fresh, grounded vision of Raven, Beast Boy, Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, and the rest of the crew. These were not untouchable superheroes floating above the everyday struggles of young people. They were friends trying to understand their powers, their relationships, their mistakes, and their place in the world. That emotional connection helped the books reach a new generation of DC fans while giving longtime readers another reason to fall in love with the Titans.
To celebrate the release, Garcia and Picolo are taking the show on the road with the Teen Titans: Together book tour. The nationwide celebration gives readers an opportunity to meet the creative team, hear behind-the-scenes stories, and look back at the journey that transformed their interpretation of the Titans into a publishing powerhouse.
The tour begins August 4 in Los Angeles with a free conversation at the Santa Monica Public Library, moderated by journalist and host Rosie Knight. Additional appearances include an event at The Grove, moderated by host Frankey Smith, followed by stops across the United States.

“Teen Titans has been one of the most rewarding creative journeys of our careers,” Garcia said. “We’ve loved telling stories with these characters and watching readers connect with Raven, Beast Boy, and the rest of the Titans over the years. We grew alongside these characters, and these characters grew alongside the readers who embraced them from the very beginning.”
That connection between the creators, the characters, and the readers became one of the series’ biggest strengths. Fans did not simply watch these heroes battle villains. They saw them hang out, fall in love, mess up, support one another, and slowly become the family they needed.
“This series changed my life,” Picolo added. “We’ve shared so many unforgettable moments with fans around the world, and we’re excited to celebrate this final chapter together. I see these characters as my friends. The more I draw them, the more fun it gets.”
Picolo also reflected on the everyday moments that helped his versions of the Titans stand apart. His casual character designs, streetwear-inspired looks, and social-media artwork helped readers imagine Raven, Beast Boy, and their friends as real young people they might actually know.
“Some of my favorite moments came from drawing these characters the same way I’d draw my own friends just hanging out,” Picolo said. “Kami and I are always blown away when fans show up in cosplay inspired by those everyday looks from the books.”
While Teen Titans: Together closes the door on this version of the Titans, Garcia and Picolo are not packing up their pencils and disappearing into the shadows. Their next DC adventure is already waiting in the wings.
The creative team will reunite for Young Justice: Kid Flash & Blue Beetle, the first installment in a new Young Justice graphic novel series featuring even more heroes from across the DC Universe. Additional information, including release details and the expanded cast, will be revealed in the months ahead.
“As sentimental as we are about finishing the Teen Titans series, this is also just the beginning of a new chapter for Gabriel and me,” Garcia said. “At the heart of all our books is the idea of becoming who you’re meant to be while learning to embrace who you already are.”
Garcia explained that the same emotional themes that defined their Teen Titans run will carry into Young Justice. Friendship, identity, self-acceptance, and the often-messy process of growing into yourself will remain at the heart of the storytelling.
“We’re excited to bring that perspective to Young Justice and introduce readers to our vision of Kid Flash and Blue Beetle,” she added.

Blue Beetle’s arrival should be especially exciting for longtime followers of Picolo’s work. Fans have spent years asking when the character would finally step into the spotlight, and now Jaime Reyes will be sharing center stage with Kid Flash.
“Fans have been asking for Blue Beetle for years,” Picolo said. “I’ve shared sketches of both Kid Flash and Blue Beetle on social media, and now we finally have a chance to put them front and center in one of our stories.”
Picolo teased that the new series will retain the relatable energy readers loved in Teen Titans while opening the door to a different group dynamic and an entirely new visual playground.
“Young Justice is a new challenge for us, but we’re still focused on the things we love most as storytellers: friendship, everyday life, and helping readers find themselves in these characters,” he said. “If Teen Titans taught us anything, it’s that fans always surprise us. I wouldn’t be shocked if we start seeing skateboards and rollerblades showing up in cosplay photos before long.”
Teen Titans: Together may represent the end of an era, but this creative partnership is not slowing down. Garcia and Picolo helped redefine the Titans for a new generation, and now they are preparing to bring that same heart, humor, and youthful energy to Young Justice.
One crew rides into the sunset. Another is already lacing up the sneakers.
