TIGRESS ISLAND UNLEASHES A NEON-SOAKED, BARE-KNUCKLED GRINDHOUSE NIGHTMARE THIS FALL

Image Comics is about to throw readers straight into the deep end with TIGRESS ISLAND, a grimy, neon-soaked blast of exploitation pulp from writer Patrick Kindlon (Gehenna, Stringer) and artist EPHK (Harpy). Forget the sightseeing, mi gente. This island vacation comes with chains, betrayal, fists flying, and one seriously twisted fight for survival. [3]
The standalone graphic novel follows a crew of washed-up starlets who get kidnapped, shackled, and dumped into a jungle nightmare controlled by a vicious warden who apparently missed every seminar on healthy workplace management. Their only chance of making it out alive is sticking together long enough to break free, while figuring out who they can actually trust before somebody puts a knife in the plan.

Early reactions are already giving this one some juice. AIPT says the book takes the exploitation genre into “daring and thoughtful new places,” while Comical Opinions calls it a stylish trip into a neon nightmare. Translation? This ain’t looking like empty shock-and-splatter nonsense. Kindlon and EPHK are bringing some brains to the brutality.
TIGRESS ISLAND arrives at local comic shops on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, followed by bookstores and major retailers on Tuesday, December 22, 2026. Digital readers will also be able to grab it through Kindle, Google Play, Apple Books, Kobo, Hoopla, Everand, Overdrive, Comics Plus, and other platforms.
If grimy exploitation cinema, jungle survival madness, and stylish pulp violence are your flavor, TIGRESS ISLAND looks ready to serve the whole plate. Wepa!
