Vampire: The Masquerade: Wake in Hate #1 Drops New Trailer

·Al Mega

YO, SOMEBODY CHECK THE BLOOD BANK, because Titan Comics is bringing the darkness back, and these vampires ain’t exactly lining up for a friendly little midnight snack! VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE: WAKE IN HATE #1 is coming November 11, 2026, and we’re talking about a city ready to explode, bodies turning up drained, and a whole lot of bloodsuckers who apparently missed the memo about keeping a low profile. FAM, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!

Based on the legendary tabletop RPG and the world of Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2, this new comic brings together writer John Lees and artist Tom Mandrake for 32 pages of supernatural madness. If you know anything about Vampire: The Masquerade, you already know these aren’t your sparkly, romantic, let’s-hold-hands-under-the-moonlight vampires. NAH, PAPI! These creatures have politics, secrets, power struggles, and enough dirty laundry to keep an entire city awake until sunrise!

Picture this: the streets are packed with protesters, tensions are through the roof, and everybody’s got their phones out recording the chaos. Meanwhile, people are turning up dead, completely drained of blood. Now, I don’t know about you, but when bodies start showing up looking like somebody used them as a damn Capri Sun, I’m getting the hell out of there!

Of course, the killings are way too precise to be human, and suspicion starts falling on vampires who might be using the unrest as their own personal all-you-can-eat buffet. Because apparently, regular human chaos wasn’t enough! Somebody had to throw supernatural predators into the mix. That’s the kind of nightmare that makes you wonder whether the biggest monsters are hiding in the shadows or standing right there in plain sight.

Enter Silky, the mysterious owner of The Dutchman bar, who gets pulled into this bloody mess to figure out who’s really responsible. Now THAT is an interesting setup! You’ve got a city burning with anger, powerful figures trying to maintain control, and a bar owner tasked with investigating killings that could expose a whole lot more than anybody wants the public to know. Something tells me Silky’s going to need more than a stiff drink to get through this one!

What I dig about this premise is how it taps into the paranoia that makes Vampire: The Masquerade such a nasty little playground. Everybody has an agenda, everybody’s hiding something, and trusting the wrong person could leave you six feet under before you even realize you’ve been played. Throw civil unrest, suspicious murders, and vampire politics into the same pot, and you’ve got the ingredients for one hell of a supernatural crime story. Now it’s up to Lees and Mandrake to deliver the goods!

And listen, my fellow collectors, Titan Comics is coming for those wallets too! We’re getting seven cover options, including artwork from Andrea Sorrentino, Seth Adams, Tom Mandrake, and Andrea Olimpieri. Sorrentino returns with a virgin cardstock edition, Adams gets the foil treatment, and Mandrake’s artwork is available as a virgin inks cardstock cover. That’s a whole lot of vampire goodness staring at you from the comic shop shelf, so choose wisely, fam!

VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE: WAKE IN HATE #1 arrives in comic shops November 11, 2026, from Titan Comics, priced at $4.99 for 32 full-color pages. Whether you’re a longtime tabletop player, a Bloodlines fan, or somebody who just enjoys a good, bloody supernatural mystery, this one’s worth keeping on your radar.

Now tell me, Crusaders, are you ready to step back into the World of Darkness, or are you keeping your ass home with the lights on and the doors locked? Because once the sun goes down, everybody’s got secrets, and somebody’s definitely getting BIT!

THE CRUSADE NEVER ENDS! WEPAAAA!
