THE DREADNOKS GOT A DOCTOR! HASBRO’S FLATLINE BRINGS BACK-ALLEY MEDICINE TO G.I. JOE CLASSIFIED
·Al Mega

The Dreadnoks found somebody willing to patch them up, and apparently checking his credentials was asking too damn much. Hasbro is bringing Dreadnok Flatline to G.I. Joe Classified Series as figure #232, giving this crew a medical professional whose belief in grape soda’s antiseptic properties should have everybody running toward the nearest actual hospital. Fam, imagine getting injured and the dude treating you reaches for a soda instead of disinfectant. I’m keeping the wound!
According to Hasbro’s character bio, Flatline is Dr. Thomas Tinker, a veterinarian whose struggling clinic in Millville, New York led him into providing back-alley medical care for the Dreadnoks. Apparently, questionable medicine and a shared appreciation for grape soda were enough to establish a working relationship. His new patients aren’t even certain he’s licensed to practice medicine, veterinary care or much of anything else. These fools hired him anyway, which tells you plenty about the interview process.
Hasbro is sending Flatline into the collection with seven character-inspired accessories: a hood, backpack generator, power cord, medical textbook, weapon accessory, the “Chin Chopper” bone saw and “The Clinker” defibrillator hammer. A defibrillator hammer, mi gente. Somebody explain how you arrive for treatment and leave feeling comfortable when the doctor names his equipment like he’s introducing opponents at a wrestling show. I do appreciate the medical textbook being included, though. Hopefully, he opens it before picking up the saw.
That accessory selection gives collectors something funny to work into a display instead of simply handing another character a weapon and calling it a day. You can already imagine a Dreadnok looking at that textbook while Flatline gets the generator ready, suddenly remembering he has somewhere else to be. Toy photographers should have fun staging that appointment. The little story happening between figures is often what makes a shelf worth staring at, and this dude supplies plenty of material before anybody even starts posing him.
Hasbro says Flatline features multiple points of articulation for posing, display and photography. We’ll have to get the finished figure in hand before judging how well those joints and accessories cooperate, but the character description has me interested. I love when the weird personalities get their turn in a toy line. A shady veterinarian trying to keep his business alive by treating the Dreadnoks is exactly the kind of ridiculous idea I want somebody at Hasbro to keep pitching.
Preorders open Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET, with availability planned for early 2027. Hasbro lists the figure for ages four and up, and the supplied announcement does not include a retail price. Other G.I. Joe figures are sold separately and subject to availability, so assembling Flatline’s waiting room is on you. Personally, I’d make sure somebody in that display has enough sense to ask why the doctor brought a hammer to their appointment.
