Review: Family Tree #2

The 90’s was an interesting decade that was between analog and digital, the most modern thing that exists was a CD player with digital display and Motorola’s Star Tac, Loretta had a very bad day that only get worse, her little daughter Darcy presents a strange disease where small branches begin to sprout from her skin, to further complicate things a group of armed men appear in her house ready to kill the girl, the appearance of grandpa Judd saves the family of certain death, although Darcy does not trust Judd since his son left her, she has no choice but to accept the help of the elder savior, however, Darcy ignores what really happened to her husband and the secret that Judd carries with him.

I had the opportunity to read the first number of this comic and for some reasons I could not do the respective review, now that I have in my hands the second number I can do the simple review and it is a very great story showing a interesting mixture of intrigue and some psychological suspense that caught my attention, I’m sure this will be a very good comic.

Son los 90’s una dÃ©cada interesante que se debate entre lo analÃ³gico y lo digital, lo mÃ¡s moderno que existe es un reproductor de CD con pantalla digital y los Star Tac de Motorola, Loretta tuvo un dÃa muy difÃcil el cual no podÃa terminar de mejor manera, su pequeÃ±a hija Darcy presenta una extraÃ±a enfermedad donde pequeÃ±as ramas empiezan a brotar de su piel, para complicar aun mas las cosas un grupo de hombres armados aparecen en su casa dispuestos a asesinar a la niÃ±a, la pronta apariciÃ³n del abuelo Judd salva a la familia de una muerte segura, aunque Darcy no confÃa en Judd ya que fue abandonada por su hijo no tiene otra opciÃ³n que aceptar la ayuda del viejo salvador, sin embargo Darcy ignora lo que ocurriÃ³ con su esposo y el secreto que Judd lleva con Ã©l.

Tuve la oportunidad de leer el primer nÃºmero de este comic y por algunas razones no pude hacer el respectivo review, ahora que tengo en mis manos el segundo nÃºmero puedo hacer el merecido review y es un gran nÃºmero, realmente la historia se muestra interesante una buena mezcla de intriga y algo de thriller psicolÃ³gico.
