McFarlane Toys Geiger Elite Edition Review: Radioactive Done Right

The McFarlane Toys Geiger Elite Edition Absolutely Understood the Assignment!

Geiger should not look clean, safe, or polished. He should look radioactive, dangerous, and just a little insane, and this figure nails that energy. The sculpt has a great silhouette, the hood and cape give him presence, and the weapons make posing him fun. But the glow is the star. Put the right light on this thing and Geiger looks like he walked straight off a Gary Frank page and into the room.

Articulation gives you enough range for strong standing poses and crazier action shots, which made photographing him a blast. The red and green lighting changed the personality of the figure.

For Geiger fans, Ghost Machine readers, or McFarlane collectors, this is exactly what I want from an Elite Edition. It looks cool on a shelf, but it really comes alive when you start playing with the presentation.
