After more than two decades of putting horror on shirts, collectibles and just about everything else fans can get their hands on, Fright-Rags is finally putting its own nightmares on the comic-book page.
Fright-Rags Presents: Tales from the Morgue is a new 32-page, full-color horror anthology created in partnership with American Mythology Comics and hosted by Fright-Rags’ resident ghoul, the Fantom.

The debut issue delivers two original stories. “Pyromaniac” follows a force of consuming hatred convinced that fire can cleanse the world, regardless of what burns in the process. “Maul Santa” heads in a very different direction when a longtime mall Santa finally snaps on Christmas Eve.
The issue is written by James Kuhoric, S.A. Check and G.O. Parsons, with artwork from E.V. Cantada and Emanuele Tommarelli. Fright-Rags is offering an exclusive limited edition with retro-inspired cover art by Justin Osbourn, whose artwork is also available as apparel.
Retail variants from Roy Allan Martinez, Buz Hasson, Puis Calzada and Gabriel Mangum arrive in comic shops beginning October 28. The Fright-Rags exclusive edition is available now through the company’s website.
